An Aalto University Lab

Bridging realities of future creators: Where humans and machines connect innovation will occur

The Overview

The Future Interfaces Lab at Aalto University advances the merger of the physical and the digital, redefining human-machine interaction and fostering collaboration between people and intelligent systems. Through coursework and collaborative projects, such as our AI Agents course, we put ideas into practice with cutting-edge technologies. And through our talks, industry pioneers share what works — and what doesn't.

We educate future leaders who design innovative, human-centric, culturally grounded interfaces that enhance people and society. If you're curious where interfaces are headed and want to help shape them, join us to learn, contribute, and connect.
